Bridgestone Australia, a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation – the largest tyre manufacturer in the world has enlisted Charter Hall and Qanstruct to build their latest facility, located in Truganina, Victoria.

The project consists of two Buildings – the first, a 4,195m2 Commercial Vehicle Centre, and the second, a 19,247m2 Distribution Warehouse.

The Commercial Vehicle Centre will be a double-storey retail premises, complete with offices, truck tyre fitting and storage areas, a truck wash and lube mobile centre. The Distribution Warehouse will store Bridgestone’s extensive range of quality tyres.

Location was of prime importance to Bridgestone, not only for ease of distribution but also for convenience to their customer base – the Mid-West Logistics hub by developer Charter Hall will offer them exactly that.

The project will have two 99kW solar systems, extensive rainwater harvesting and is being built to achieve a 4-Star Green Star Asbuilt rating.
