Unicharm Australasia, part of the Unicharm Corporation, was formed in 2008 after the acquisition of Australian Pacific Paper Products.  Serving the Australasian market, Unicharm supply BabyLove disposable nappies through major grocery and pharmacy channels.  From newborn babies to active toddlers as well as children who are at the toilet training stage, BabyLove provides an extensive range of high quality products to suit the different developmental requirements of growing children.

In addition to nappies, Unicharm supply feminine hygiene products along with a range of adult incontinence brands, known as ‘Vlesi’ and ‘Lifree’, with a philosophy of continuous improvement of life.

Qanstruct have been engaged by our long-term client, The Goodman Property Group, to deliver Unicharm Australasia a new warehouse and distribution centre within the new Precinct F2 located at the southern end of Moorabbin Airport, off Lower Dandenong Road.  The facility will consist of a 10,500m2 main warehouse, a 2-storey 845m2 office and a cantilevered canopy covering a 1,120m2 area.

Environmental initiatives, such as rainwater harvesting for toilet flushing and irrigation and solar hot water systems, will be employed.

The project is currently scheduled for completion in May 2018.
