Stockland, having considered and assessed the underlying demand for quality supply of industrial space in Melbourne’s west, has selected Qanstruct to design and construct a purpose-built speculative industrial warehouse facility. Qanstruct has worked closely with Stockland to deliver developments that are attractive to tenants looking for modern, efficient space with just in time requirements for purpose-built flexible industrial warehouse facilities. The construction of the new speculatively-built facility in Agar Drive is now well underway and will comprise of approximately 28,957m2 of distribution floor space, 1,472m2 of office space together with 5,700m2 of covered loading which incorporates green climbing landscape elements to screen these loading areas from the street. The warehouse development has been designed on an optimal grid layout for future racking requirements and comprises dedicated hardstand areas with separation between articulated vehicles and carpark areas. The project is underway and is scheduled for completion in July 2019.
