Qanstruct was again an active participant in the World of Concrete 2018 which exceeded expectations across the board and concluded the 43rd edition as the largest World of Concrete in 9 years.
This signature event for the concrete and masonry industries drew 58,222 registered professionals and featured more than 1,567 companies (including 302 brand new companies) showcasing their products across more than 72,000 square meters of exhibition space. Qanstruct were represented by Clem Perin, Trent Franks, Dom Sherlock, Alistair Morris and Dallas Slingo who attended the week-long conference comprising a mix of education seminars, hands on training and displays of the latest development in concrete technology and equipment.
Following on from attendance at the previous World of Concrete event in 2016, the aim of the conference was to expose a new group of Qanstruct staff to the latest developments in concrete technology. “There is a greater emphasis on concrete mix design and floor flatness measurement criteria with our projects and the World of Concrete allows us to focus on areas where we can further develop our knowledge base. Ultimately, we can then transfer our learnings to the wider Qanstruct team” said Trent Franks.
