Groundbreaking activities at GEA Headquarters

German-based company GEA, one of the largest suppliers of food and beverage equipment in Australia, have broken ground on their latest foundations located at Melbourne Airport. 

The construction is a consolidation of 5 existing facilities to create their Victorian Headquarters.
The project, currently under construction, will comprise of a 4500m2 warehouse and 1200m2 office. As well as providing an extensive administrative base, the project includes a warehouse fit out of specialist equipment to assist in testing, servicing and maintaining equipment.  
 
The Sod Turning Ceremony was performed by Goran Erdevicki – Managing Director GEA Australia, Linc Horton – Chief of Property Melbourne Airport, Carly Moore – Hume City Mayor, Hugo Blaum – Regional Head of APAC GEA.
