Construction is shaping up for Qube Logistics

Qube has engaged Qanstruct to build a 51,000m2 warehouse for the groups Logistics business at Moorebank Logistics Park.

The Moorebank Logistics Park is set to become Australia’s largest freight infrastructure project, with over 850,000m2 of warehouses to be delivered over 10 years.
The park will incorporate the latest automated freight handling technology, including automated gantry cranes and electric driverless straddle carriers.

The facility that Qanstruct is building for Qube, will feature the main warehouse, two double-storey offices, and four dock offices.
The warehouse will feature in-ground levelers, provisions for automated container moving equipment and calibration zones for the state-of-the-art automated machines. The external pavement of the warehouse has been designed specifically to meet the long-term operational requirements of the automated container moving equipment, to see Qube long into the future.
Electric truck and car charging points will be installed, and rainwater will be harvested on-site, supporting Qube to provide cleaner and greener options, as well as offsetting operational costs.

We are very excited to be delivering this project for Qube at the Moorebank Logistics Park. Construction is due for completion in December 2020.
